How do I make a booking?

To make a booking, follow the instructions below:

BROWSE:

Type the city or country you will be visiting. You can also search by clinic name.
Select your treatment dates.
Remember to provide the check-in and check-out date at the clinic, not your traveling dates.
Click on Search button.
You will be presented with the list of clinics and hospitals that match your search criteria. You can further narrow down your research by using the various filters on the top of the page.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE PROVIDER:

Click on the 'Reserve' button to read more about the provider and proceed with a booking. You will be redirected to the provider's profile.

BOOK:

Fill in the requested information in the reservation box on the right side of your screen and click on the fuchsia 'Book' button to proceed with your booking.
Log into your account or register a new account. After you have successfully logged into your account, you will be automatically redirected to the same page (step 6).
Confirm/fill in the dates you need to have your treatments and also the prefered shifts
Confirm your details / patient's details and also fill in the home clinic's details.
Confirm if you are having a care partner with you and fill in your vacation address / this is the step that you can upload your medical documents in order for the clinic to be able to review - this is not obligatory step.
Confirm booking request at the fucshia button on the top right hand side of the page.
You will receive a confirmation email from bookdialysis.com with a summary of your booking and next steps.

Do I prepay for my booking?
There are no booking or other fees when making a booking on bookdialysis.com. You pay for your treatment directly the healthcare provider. Bookdialysis.com will never ask you to make a payment or share your credit card details.

Can I book dialysis for someone else?

By creating an account on bookdialysis.com you are able to book dialysis treatments for yourself or on behalf of another patient.
Whether you are booking for a relative, friend or one of your permanent patients, you will be requested to insert the details of the patient attending the treatment during the check-out process.

How do I pay?

bookdialysis.com is completely free for patients looking to book a medical treatment in one of the healthcare providers in our network.
Treatment prices are solely determined by the healthcare providers. The price for a dialysis treatment includes the cost of all materials and heparin required for treatment as well as all taxes and extra charges and is therefore, the final price you will have to pay to the clinic for your booked treatments. Treatment prices take into account whether or not you are a European Health Insurance Card holder (EHIC), based on the information you provided during your registration on bookdialysis.com. Please review before completing your treatment if the partner is accepting EHIC cards.

You will be requested to pay for treatment directly to the healthcare provider. Most providers will ask you to pay for your completed treatments on your last day of treatment or prepay an amount during your first visit. This depends solely on the provider and is agreed between you and the provider after the reservation is confirmed.

I do not receive notification emails from bookdialysis.com. What should I do?

If you have not been receiving any email notifications from us, there are a few different steps you can try to figure out the issue. Remember, you can always find all the necessary information about your pending, upcoming, completed and canceled bookings in your account.

Make sure your email address is correct
We might be sending emails to an old or incorrect email address. To see or change the email address linked to your account, log in to your bookdialysis.com account and follow the steps below:

Click on 'Account' on the top right corner of your screen and select 'Account Details'.
You are able to review your email address
Check the email address linked with your account and make sure it is the correct one. If you need to change your email address, click on ’Change Email Address'. You will be requested to verify your new email address. Follow the instructions in the email you will receive in the new email address you provided.

Search all messages in your email inbox
Sometimes emails can get lost in your inbox. In your email account, search for terms like "bookdialysis", "reservation", "booking", or other words related to the email you're looking for.

Check your spam and other email filters
It's possible your email provider mistakenly sent our messages to your spam/ junk folder. To avoid this:

Mark the emails from bookdialysis.com as ‘not spam’ to remove them from your spam list
Add notifications@bookdialysis.com, info@bookdialysis.com and support@bookdialysis.com to your personal email address book.
