we did 3 treatments,the staff dont know english only the doctor could communicate with us,They didn't let my escort sit next to me and be with me due to the treatment, so you stay alone the whole session. In addition, the staff hardly moved around the patients. easily, someone could pass out and no one would notice. It was disappointing.

Well run unit, ideal if you're staying near the center of Rome. They do not provide food as such so bring your own. They also require a certificated Covid test done at a pharmacy 2 days before your first dialysis session I believe that this is mandatory before any medical admission in Italy.

Every team member I interacted with during my four dialysis sessions was a consummate professional. Everyone was friendly and very attentive. Communicating with the staff was very easy. The doctors and most of the nurses and technicians spoke English. Even the personnel who did not speak English found some way to communicate either through hand gestures, Spanish, and sometimes drawing pictures. Communication with the administrative staff was OUTSTANDING throughout the entire process. They always replied to my emails within 24 hours. The president of the facility, was extremely accommodating to all my schedule change requests submitted prior to my arrival. Last-minute changes were necessary to accommodate changes in our tours schedule. I only recently started dialysis in the fall of 2023. This was my first experience receiving dialysis overseas, and it was truly a blessing to have found Diagest SRL through bookdialysis.com. I strongly recommend this facility to anyone needing dialysis while traveling to Rome, Italy.
